The New York Times:For Knicks’ Thomas, Contentment Comes Early
Thank god for Renaldo Balkman and Demetris Nichols! After last years horrible season coming off a 33-49 record the knicks really needed some new talent, and over these past couple of summer league games i think Isaih Thomas and the New York Knicks have found the answers to there prayers. after coming of a 88-65 win over china Balkman and Nichols feel extremly well about next season and changing things around. Nichols was drafted 53rd by Portland, and traded to the Knicks on draft night.Nichols said he was “very surprised” to slip so far in the draft, but added, “I think it happened for a reason.” And he vowed: “I’m going to prove a lot of people wrong, guys who didn’t pick me.”Isaih Thomas said that " there is alot of play left in the draft and rite now were crossing ou fingers and hoping for the best."
