4-6 This chapter to me was a little bit like the first three chapters. The chapters talked a lot about his personal experiences and what he saw. But for the most part these chapters were good, like in the begging of the book were the narrator talks about were the root of the problems in Darfur come from. He gives us a good understanding of who is fighting who and why. He explains who the Janjaweed are in chapter four and in chapter five he talks about how the citizens are fighting against the government, and he goes into detail about how the U.S is helping and what you can do to stop the genocide. Chapter five was the strongest chapter out of all the chapters I read so far basically it puts into context the same things we talk about in class, such as china and Russia and how their aiding the Sudanese government, and the African Union and how there doing all they can. Chapter six was okay I felt the it went off topic in many places how they once again talked about different movies, and how out of no were they were discussing aids in Africa. Well the book is getting better the more I read I think chapters 4-6 were great. |
