the first bomb!

Dialectic Journal 2/15
“The first bomb, the first explosion, burst in our hearts. We are cut off from activity, from striving, from progress. We believe in such things no longer. We believe in the war.”

1. This quote symbolizes that war is now a reality; this is the shaping of the “human animals”. This is the part that they are now realizing age is not important. Their young lives as school boys and friends are now over and it’s only a memory. Now they’re reminiscing on the good times they shared in school with friends and girls. And just like that it all vanished now the only thing they no is war kill or get killed.

2. Their lives are now are based and focused on the war. Is this rite? Of course not, these young men have a lot more to live for then a war. They were on the rite path they went to school and they had a future. Their idiotic teacher persuaded them into making the biggest mistake of their lives. Not only does the war isolate you from the real society, and take away your friends and love ones it also takes away many of their rights. This interest me because its awful how there government knows that this is a problem and their killing off a generation, but they still insist on fighting this war.
