Legacy of the French Revolution

After Napoleon abdicates in 1814, the revolution is officially over, and Louis XVIII is crowned King of France. Can you believe it? The monarchy returns!!! In light of our investigation of the French Revolution and the Napoleonic era, evaluate the legacy of the French Revolution. Do you believe it was a success or a failure?

Besides the fact that napoleon and his people killed 40,000 people in twelve months. Napoleon just wanted to better his country; he did so by conquering many European countries except for Sweden, and Portugal. Although you can’t say that killing 40,000 people is a success, you can’t say that killing innocent and neutral people is a success, and he was beheaded because his own people thought that he was crazy, how is that a success? Napoleons main goal was to fight for and get rid monarchy. Although he did for twelve months but when he was beheaded Louis XVIII came into power he then returned France into a complete monarchy. You could say that napoleon had twelve months of success.
